The search is on for the Miss World Philippines USA 2024 pageant!

This was announced by Mary Jane McLelland, national director of Miss World Philippines USA 2024, during the launch of the pageant at the Invincinal Village in Beverly Hills, California recently. Details about the pageant search will be announced soon.

"The Miss World Philippines USA will be different from other pageants. It will focus on advocacy and personality development.

"To those who are interested, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and this will be something that you will never forget. You will be able to learn a lot of things for life. This pageant will prepare you for life," Mary Jane said.

Two titles are at stake: Miss World Philippines USA 2024 and Miss Grand Philippines USA 2024. The two winners will compete in Manila for the Miss World Philippines 2024 and Miss Grand Philippines 2024 later this year.

"And who knows? Our winner could be the next Megan Young in the making. More crowns are at stake in this pageant," she said.

Megan is the country's first Miss World winner from the Philippines after she was crowned in Indonesia in 2013.

Mary Jane mentioned that the Miss World Philippines USA competition will raise awareness about preventing cervical cancer.

To determine the winners, all contestants will participate in fast-track challenges similar to those in Miss World. These challenges are Beauty With A Purpose, Multimedia, Sports Challenge, Talent, and Top Model.

French-Filipina Gwendolyne Fourniol is Miss World Philippines 2023. Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic is the reigning Miss World.
