EV drivers can plug in at Shell Recharge Stations in their favorite malls

EV owners now have more options when it comes to recharging their vehicles within the city. Shell continues to add new charging stations, now in commercial malls, to cement its position as the leader in mobility energy transition. 

It’s latest locations are three mall-based charging stations in Metro Manila. In partnership with Ortigas Land Corporation (OLC), Shell has set up Shell Recharge Stations at Estancia Mall, Greenhills-Connecticut Arcade and Greenhills-Missouri. The partnership between Shell and OLC shows both companies’ commitment to embracing emerging new technologies and delivering innovations to anticipate the future needs and aspirations of their customers. 

Shell Recharge Greenhills-Connecticut Greenhills-Missouri and Estancia Mall charging points are equipped with Type 2 connectors. These means they are compatible with Audi, BMW, BYD, Dongfeng, Jaguar, Jetour, Hyundai, Kia, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Porsche, and Volvo electric vehicles. There are a total of 10 charging points: two in Greenhills - Connecticut; four in Greenhills, - Missouri, and four in Estancia Mall.

Diego Santiago from Pasig City Government at the ribbon cutting of the Estancia site.

With the addition of the three mall-based charging stations, the Shell Recharge network has grown to 6 sites. The Shell Recharge sites at Shell TPLEX in Rosario, La Union, and the Shell Mamplasan create a 700 km loop for EV owners, allowing them to venture far outside Metro Manila. Meanwhile, the new sites are strategically located to be within reach of all NCR dwellers, and even EV owners in adjacent provinces. The Shell Recharge site in Mamplasan is powered by 100% renewable energy and the conversion of the other 4 sites is currently underway.
