21 wanted persons fall in Cordillera

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Police arrested 21 wanted individuals in the Cordillera region from May 12 to 18.

The Police Regional Office-Cordillera Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division said the Benguet Police Provincial Office caught nine, followed by the Ifugao PPO with four, Baguio City Police Office  with three, Kalinga PPO with two, and Abra PPO, Apayao PPO, and Mountain Province PPO with one  each.

Fifty-eight out of 76 municipalities in the region recorded zero crime incidents due to relentless police operations.

Abra PPO reported zero crime incidents in 24 municipalities, followed by Mountain Province PPO with 10, Ifugao PPO with eight, Apayao PPO and Benguet PPO with six each, and Kalinga PPO with four.

Two out of the 10 police stations in Baguio City – Loakan (Station 4) and Abanao (Station 7) – also reported zero crime incidents.
