The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Monday, May 20, announced the distribution of patient transport vehicles (PTVs) to 16 beneficiaries.

PCSO said that 14 of its beneficiaries are local government units (LGUs), one is a provincial hospital, and the remaining one is the 1st Scout Ranger Regiment, Philippine Army Camp Tecson in San Miguel, Bulacan.
The turnover ceremony took place at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong City.
Since January 2024, the agency has successfully distributed a total of 84 PTV units to various beneficiaries.

The goal is to provide a total of 379 PTV units this year to improve health services for patients nationwide.
"Ang pamamahagi ng PTV sa iba’t ibang LGU sa buong bansa ay alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na ilapit ang serbisyo ng pamahalaan sa mga mamamayan (The distribution of PTVs to various LGUs across the country aligns with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s directive to bring government services closer to the people)," PCSO said in a social media post.

The event was spearheaded by PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles along with Interior Secretary Benjamin ‘Benhur’ Abalos Jr. and PCSO Directors Jennifer Liongson-Guevara and Ret. Judge Felix Reyes.
