The local government of Pasay City conducted clearing operations in three barangays in line with President Marcos' “Bagong Pilipinas: Kalinisan at Kaayusan” program on Monday, May 20.

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the team composed of barangay officials and tanods (village watchmen) conducted clearing operations in Barangays 55, 53 and 50.

Rubiano ordered the team to ensure that main roads as well as secondary streets and alleys in the city are all free from any obstructions.

"Ang paglilinis po sa ating mga komunidad ay isang palagiang programa ng lokal na pamahalaan, and this time since mayroon pong mahigpit na bilin ang ating Pangulong Bongbong Marcos, lalo pa nating pinalakas at pinaigting ang ating kampanya para malinis at maging kaaya-aya sa paningin at paninirahan ang ating lungsod (Clearing in the community is a regular program of the city government and since President Bongbong Marcos came out with a directive, we intensified our campaign on cleanliness in the city),” said Rubiano.
