Operatives of the Meycauayan, Bulacan police on Sunday, May 19, arrested five individuals for possession of illegal drugs in violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 as amended by R.A. 10640, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Based on the report submitted by the Meycauayan police Special Operation Unit (SOU) 3 and PNP Drug Enforcement Group to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, confiscated from the arrested suspects were 10 plastic sachets of shabu weighing more or less 205 grams, and the buy-bust money.
The confiscated illegal drugs were estimated at a standard drug price of P1,394,000, the police said.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit.
Criminal complaints have been prepared against the suspects for filing in court.
