Japanese girl group XG to hold first world tour in Manila

Korea-based Japanese girl group XG, or Xtraordinary Girls, will be embarking on their first world tour and it includes Manila.

XG, composed of Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Harvey, Juria, Maya, and Cocona, debuted in March 2022 with the single “Tippy Toes.”

They will launch their XG 1st World Tour: The First Howl” in Osaka, Japan on May 18 and 19 followed by Yokohama, Singapore, Seoul, Taipei, Bangkok, Manila and Kuala Lumpur.

In Manila XG will hold the concert on Aug. 2 (Friday), 8 p.m., at the Araneta Coliseum. Ticket prices are P13,800, P8,800, P8,000, P6,800, P5,000 and P4,000 (excluding booking fee).

Fan club presale will start at noon on May 24 (Friday) and general on-sale will begin at noon on May 25 (Saturday) via ticketnet.com.ph.

They were the first Japanese artist to have charted first place on the Billboard chart Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter and the first Japanese girl group to grace the cover of US Billboard magazine.

XG’s Manila show is promoted by AEG Presents Asia and Ovation Productions.
