Indian businessman dies as tricycle plunges into ravine

BAMBANG, Nueva Vizcaya – A 23-year-old Indian businessman died after the tricycle he was driving plunged into a deep ravine in Purok Pag-asa, Barangay San Fernando here on Friday, May 17.

Police Major Jolly Villar, public information officer of the Nueva Vizcaya Police Provincial Office, identified the victim as Satwant Singh, a resident of Barangay Banggot, this town. 

Villar said the victim was probably speeding and lost control of the tricycle and as a result, plummeted into the ravine.

Singh reportedly was on his way to collect debt payments when he figured in the accident.

His body was found before dawn on Saturday,  May 18.
