Between celebrating her collegiate achievement and jumping to a pro opportunity, Alyssa Solomon wants to cherish her remaining time in the UAAP following National University’s second title win in three seasons.

The two-time Best Opposite Spiker was upfront when she revealed that she hasn’t considered going professional and playing in the PVL at the moment.
Even when an opportunity is likely to turn up any day now.
After steering the Lady Bulldogs to a Finals series sweep of University of Santo Tomas in Season 86, Solomon still has two years of playing eligibility left.
The 22-year-old spiker was named Finals MVP following her championship eruption that saw her come up with a team-high 17-point outing in Game 1 and eventually following it up with a perfectly timed season-high 27 points in the Game 2 clincher.
Despite a rough start to the season, Solomon was reliable when she was needed and beyond.
Along with two-time MVP and teammate Bella Belen, Solomon could have followed up the UAAP championship with a promising stint with the national team in the AVC Challenge Cup, which they both eventually begged off from.
Though both grateful for the call-up, Solomon and Belen preferred to rest and fully recover from the grueling season that was.
Aside from the two NU standouts, Casiey Dongallo of University of the East has also withdrawn from the lineup following a right wrist injury.
