PRC releases April 2024 registered electrical engineers, master electricians licensure exam results


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released on Thursday, May 2, the results of the April 2024 Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination (REELE) and Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination (RMELE).

PRC said 4,436 out of 7,005 examinees passed the REELE, while 629 out of 1,220 examinees passed the RMELE.

Graduates of Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT) University and Isabel State University-Ilagan (ISU-Ilagan) topped the April 2024 REELE and RMELE results, respectively.

Both exams were facilitated by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga and Puerto Princesa, Palawan on April 24 to 25 for REELE and April 26 for RMELE.

Top performing schools

 

Based on the Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058 (C) series of 2017, the top performing schools in the April 2024 REELE are the University of Batangas (UB) and Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sto. Tomas (PUP-Sto. Tomas).

UB achieved a passing percentage of 96.20 percent, with 76 out of 79 examinees from the university passing the exam, while PUP-Sto. Tomas had a passing percentage of 90.38 percent, with 94 out of 104 takers obtaining their license.

Meanwhile, for RMELE, PRC noted that no school qualified, as no university attained at least an 80 percent passing percentage.

Oathtaking

 

Successful examinees interested in participating in the face-to-face mass oath-taking must register no later than noon on the day preceding the scheduled oath-taking date. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.

For those unable to attend the mass oath-taking, the option to join the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking is available. The schedule will be posted on the official website once confirmed.

To schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph, choose "e-OATH" as the transaction.

Online registration will close five calendar days before the online oath-taking day.

Furthermore, inductees must print the "Oath of Professional" form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.

After the oath-taking, inductees should proceed with the Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.
