BACOLOD CITY – Four individuals, including a couple, were arrested in buy-bust operations here this week.
Seized from the suspects were P840,344 worth of suspected shabu.

Arrested in Barangay Pahanocoy on Tuesday, April 30, were Jonel Bonza, 44, and Meliton Litsado Jr., 30, both high-value individuals. Seized from them were 97.58 grams of shabu valued at P663,544.
Police Major Eugene Tolentino, head of Police Station 8, said the suspects were previously arrested for drug offenses.
Tolentino said that Bonza allegedly coordinated with their clients and Litsado served as runner. Litsado was under the drugs watchlist of the Police Station 7.
John Norbe, 49, and his wife Leonida, 65, were apprehended on Monday, April 29, and recovered from them were 26 grams of shabu worth P176,800 and a gun.
Police Capt. Portia Nillosan, head of Police Station 5, said the couple was subjected to the operation after they were traced as the source of their nephew’s illegal drugs supply. He was arrested early this year for drug peddling.
