PDEA nets P3.7-M marijuana in Benguet

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency seized P3.7-million worth of marijuana in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Betag here on Thursday morning, May 2.

The agency identified the suspects as Levis Paoway Panangen, 26, and Alvin Daiso Lid-ayan, 21, both high-value target drug personalities.

Seized from the suspects were 31 elongated dried marijuana leaves with stalks and fruiting tops weighing one kilo each and wrapped with brown packaging tape.

The suspects and recovered marijuana are under PDEA custody. Drug-related cases will be filed against the suspects.
