Michelle Dee gets tattooed by Whang-Od

Michelle Dee got inked by Apo Whang-Od recently.

The 2023 Miss Universe-PH titleholder shared a video of the moment with fans via social media.

She wrote, “Finally!! Grateful for my team @personifi.io for making this trip with me. What an amazing way to start the month of May and my final days as your reigning queen. (more to come) All love.”

Michelle also shared photos and videos of her and Whang-Od performing what seemed to be a traditional dance.

It was a promise fulfilled.

Prior, Michelle told us how she has been hoping to meet Apo Whang-Od in person, noting her contributions to "cultural preservation."

Ever the fan, the beauty queen earned praise for wearing a Whang-Od-inspired evening gown as created by Mark Bumgarner at the Miss Universe 2023 pageant.

She did very much the same at her homecoming parade, flaunting yet another creation by Mark as inspired by the mambabatok.
