DOH vaccinates over 1 million children in BARMM amid measles outbreak
In a move against the measles outbreak, the Department of Health (DOH) on Thursday, May 2, announced the successful vaccination of 1,177,299 children in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

DOH Assistant Secretary and spokesperson Albert Domingo revealed that the vaccination drive, part of the Measles Outbreak Response Immunization (MORI), reached this milestone as of May 1.
The vaccinated children, aged six months to below 10 years old, received the measles-rubella (MR) vaccine, an important defense against measles.
Led by the Ministry of Health (MOH), Domingo said that this effort highlights the government's commitment to safeguarding public health.
