Asian Pacific leaders honored in A100 list: Jungkook, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, ‘Airbender’ cast


Asian Pacific leaders from entertainment personalities to sports figures have been honored in the A100 list.

The 2024 list was unveiled by Gold House, an organization “that unites, invests in, and champions Asian Pacific leaders to power tomorrow for all.”

“Every  May, the A100 honors the 100 most impactful Asian  Pacific leaders in culture and society over the past year, as well as special honors for unique contributions," Gold House posted on its website.

According to Gold House, “Asian  Pacific leaders are redefining today and shaping tomorrow. Asian  Pacific-led creativity continued to break records in entertainment, with the most-watched  Netflix show of 2023 (The Night Agent), the most-watched  Disney+  film premiere of 2023 (Elemental), the most-watched  FX premiere ever on  Hulu (Shōgun), the  first Asian to win “Male Artist of the Year” at the  People’s Choice Awards (Jungkook), the most-watched YouTube Shorts creator of 2023 (Alan Chikin Chow), and the first Asian-created and led television show to win an  Emmy for  Best Limited or Anthology Series (Beef).”  

Among the honorees this year are BTS’ Jungkook, HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, cast and creator of “Beef,” showrunner and stars of “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” Bella Poarch, and Kasama chefs Tim Flores and Genie Kwon.
