OWWA warns of scammers on social media

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) warned the public against social media posts using the name of its administrator, Arnell Ignacio, in illegal money-making activities.

The OWWA said one of the perpetrators has already duped a netizen of P5,000.

It asked the public to immediately report scammers on social media as it clarified that the OWWA  is not asking money in exchange of help from the agency.
