FASHION PULIS: Freebie queen

Published May 18, 2024 06:08 am

Lucky are celebrity endorsers who have the first dibs on certain products. Sometimes, sponsors are very generous and give their endorsers free products and services. In certain cases, designers will let go of their creations for a nominal fee.

Showbiz personalities benefit from certain arrangements when it comes to their endorsements. However, other personalities need to move heaven and earth or use their clout to get what they want.

Freebie Queen (FQ) has the grapevine talking and giggling about her ‘secret name.’ FQ has been in the entertainment industry for quite a while now. Over the years, FW has gained a favorable reputation in her field and for her faux pas at times, she has responded in humility.

However, the dark side of FQ is her penchant for asking from sponsors or possible endorsers. FQ has a fondness for personally requesting from people whom she knows has something that could be of use to her. It does not matter to her the size of the company as long as she would be able to ask for her needed item.

At one point, FQ was so persistent. The Supplier (TS) was already ignoring FQ, but she continued to contact TS.

Because FQ is very insistent, she gets what she wants. TS gave in to FQ out of embarrassment as the latter was very diligent in contacting TS and letting her know about her request over and over.

“Someone can decide it’s in their best interests to agree to something, but a choice is only really a choice if there’s a genuine alternative. Otherwise it’s manipulation and it’s taking advantage.” ― Jane Harpers

Are the bachelor days of Her Fiancé (HF) really done?

HF might have to backtrack on his side activities that might unexpectedly be revealed in public. Consequently, his present status might be bombarded with criticisms and Underrated Partner (UP) would once again be placed in the limelight.

HF is an attractive young man but opted to devote his energy to other fields.

HF and UP met and for several years, the two built their relationship. Even if their career interests are different, they hit it off and nothing could break them apart. The intrigues did not alter their connection and both are quietly living their lives together. Social media is no longer a priority and the couple seemed to have opted for peace of mind.

However, HF allegedly still has a profile in a dating app. Someone’s (SO) profile matched with HF’s. SO, luckily, checked the social media accounts of HF to find out more about him.

SO learned about UP and the fact that he is committed and in a long-term relationship with UP.

After a few exchanges, SO then asked HF about UP. That was the last straw. HF stopped replying.

The question now is if HF has already deleted his dating app account. If he has not, then why is he keeping it even if UP has been in his life for many years?

‘When confronted, cheaters will most likely say sorry or even make it seem like an accident and that it will never happen again. But it doesn’t take away from the fact that they knew exactly what they were doing.’ —  Maryn Liles
