QCPD drug bust nets P1.6-M shabu

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) operatives seized a total of P1,632,000 shabu from a big-time drug peddler in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City on Friday, May 17.

Police identified the suspect as Ricardo Dominique, 21, a resident of Barangay Bahay Toro, Quezon City.

The suspect was arrested by operatives of PS 15 and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) after receiving information from a confidential informant regarding his drug peddling activities in Barangay Bahay Toro.

The suspect was nabbed after selling illegal drugs to a police poseur-buyer.

Confiscated from him were 240 grams of shabu worth P1,632,000, a belt bag, and the buy-bust money.

The suspect will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), police said.
