Boy dies after being hit by truck in Quezon

GUMACA, Quezon â€“ A seven-year-old boy died after he was hit by a truck on the Maharlika Highway, Barangay Camohaguin, this town, on Friday morning, May 17.

Police identified the victim as Kent, a resident of Barangay Camohaguin.

Kent suddenly crossed the road and was sideswiped by an Isuzu Traviz L Flexi Truck with license plates EAE-2617.

The victim was taken to the Magsaysay Memorial Hospital in Lopez, Quezon where he was declared dead.

The driver was arrested and faces a case of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
