Jericho Rosales, Kim Jones spotted together at Cannes

Fans were giddy to see photos of Jericho Rosales and Kim Jones together at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Some were quick to assume they have gotten back together following the surprise announcement of their separation in January courtesy of their friend and wedding godfather, Ricci Ocampo.

Then again, there are those who insist that the two are merely working on a film project.

So, which is which?

Producer-director Atty. Joji Alonso was quick to clarify that the ex-couple simply posed for a picture with her as “friends.”

“Walang movie. Magkasama lang sila. Friends naman sila,” she said. 

In an interview with Cosmopolitan PH in March, Jericho stressed how he and Kim are aiming to be an inspiration for other separated couples by maintaining their friendship. 

“It shouldn’t always be sad. It shouldn’t always be a bad thing,” he said.

“We’ve transformed the relationship into something really special as friends. It’s one of the best things that ever happened to us. And we wanted people to be inspired and show them, ‘Hey, look, it can be done. You can be friends with your ex.”
