Bulacan PNP arrests 12 drug personalities, 6 law offenders
Two days of relentless police operations conducted by the Bulacan police on Thursday and Friday, May 16 and 17, led to the arrest of 12 drug personalities and six lawbreakers.
In reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the drug-sting operation conducted in Brgy San Rafael 1, City of San Jose Del Monte resulted in the arrest of three drug peddlers identified as alias "Ken"; alias "Lyn", and alias Louie, all listed in the PNP-PDEA unified watchlist. Confiscated from them were seven sachets of suspected shabu and marked money.
Similarly, nine individuals involved in the illegal drugs trade were apprehended by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Angat, San Rafael, Norzagaray, Plaridel, and Guiguinto police during a series of drug buy-bust operations. Confiscated were a total of 22 sachets of suspected shabu and marked money.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. Criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects have been prepared for court filing.
Moreover, six persons wanted for various crimes and offenses were arrested by tracker teams of Bocaue, Meycauayan, San Jose Del Monte, Balagtas, San Miguel, and Bustos City/Police Station by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the court.
