Alden Richards on his supposed criticism of Daniel Padilla: 'Ingat lang po tayo sa fake news'

Alden Richards was quick to address a controversial issue about him supposedly commenting via social media relating the failed relationship of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

The actor’s alleged comment, as posted on X: "Kathryn, gave her love and trust to you pati na ang future nya for how many years pero niloloko mo lang pala.

"On cam ka lang pala loyal at sweet pero sa likod ng camera, dugong Padilla ka talaga.

"Please bro, wag mo nang guluhin pa si Kath, huwag kang selfish. Masaya na sya ngayon sa mundong ginagalawan niya."

Alden insisted it is a sham.

"Kahit kailan po hindi po ako magko-comment ng kahit anong defamatory words to someone na hindi ko naman masyadong nakakasama," he told “24 Oras.”

“At wala naman akong karapatan na manghusga sa taong tinutukoy d'un sa mga fake tweets na kumakalat...”

He then advised all concerned, “Ingat lang po tayo sa fake news dahil ang social media po eh, pugad ng fake news.”

“At mag-fact check po muna tayo bago tayo mag-call out ng judgement," he added.
