Vendor gunned down in Quezon

CANDELARIA, Quezon – A 55-year-old vendor was gunned down in Barangay Poblacion here on Wednesday morning, May 15.
Police identified the victim as Edgardo Magtibay, a resident of Barangay Malabanban Norte.
Investigation said Magtibay was standing on a street when two men on board a motorcycle appeared and shot him twice in the head.
Magtibay died on the spot and the suspects fled towards Maharlika Highway.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
