BMW unveils the fully-electric CE 02

BMW offers riders an emissions free way to commute around the city in the form of the first-ever CE 02. This fully-electric two-wheeled vehicle is dubbed the eParkourer for cities and urban areas.

The BMW CE 02 is powered by an electric powertrain, trend-setting design, and comes with innovative solutions to make it a dynamic vehicle for city use.

Its more rugged and bare-bones design centers around the disc wheels that are designed to emphasize its proportions. It comes with a black frame, black wheels, fender, triple clamp and fairing. Meanwhile granite grey metallic matt coats the motor cover for contrast. Forks are anodized in gold and a tape design in combination with Petrol colorway serves as a contrasting highlight to make the CE 02 look dynamic and future-oriented even when standing still.

It's built on a chassis with a double-loop tube frame, telescopic forks, a single-sided rear swingarm and cast light alloy wheels. Its double-loop frame is made of tubular steel for torsional rigidity. A directly-pivoted shock absorber is used at the rear. Wide tires are mounted on cast light alloy wheels in disc wheel design. Disc brakes with ABS in front ensure safe deceleration at the front and rear.

Powering the CE 02 is a 3.92-kWh battery. It sends power to the 15-hp electric motor. It has a maximum estimated range of 88-km and a top speed of 97-kmh. The BMW CE 02 is priced at P595,000.
