2 drug pushers from Metro Manila fall in Baguio City

BAGUIO CITY – Two suspected drug pushers from Metro Manila were caught in a buy-bust operation here on Thursday, May 16.

The Police Regional Office-Cordillera identified the suspects as Salamia Tucalo and Joyce Monta, considered as high-value individuals in the illegal drugs trade.

Seized from them was P174,000 worth of shabu. Suspects face drug-related charges.

Meanwhile, the Kalinga Provincial Police Office seized more than 32,000 marijuana plants valued at P6.4 million during an eradication operation in Barangay Loccong, Tinglayan, Kalinga, from May 10 to 15.

Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., Police Regional Office-Cordillera chief, cited the operatives for their accomplishments.
