Man dies after motorcycle rams farmer, cow in Ilocos Sur

CAMP PRESIDENT QUIRINO, Ilocos Sur â€“ A 36-year-old man died and his back rider was injured when their motorcycle rammed a farmer and a cow in Barangay Sagsagat, San Ildefonso, this province, on Sunday night, May 12.

Police identified the victim as Jayson Belizar of Palao, Bangued, Abra and Barangay Camestizoan, Santo Domingo, Ilocos Sur.

Investigation disclosed that Belizar was driving his motorcycle when he accidentally crashed into Augusto Peros, 52, of Barangay Padu Grande, Santo Domingo, who walking with his cow.

Belizar, his back rider, Ronnie Palado, 39, and Peros sustained injuries.

Police took the victims to the hospital where Belizar died on Monday, May 13, and Palado and Peros are recovering.
