SAN JUAN, Ilocos Sur – A 58-year-old e-bike driver died in a vehicular accident on the national highway in Barangay Labnig here on Wednesday, May 15.
Police identified as the victim as Antonio D. Valle, a resident of Barangay Labnig.
The victim was crossing the road on a e-bike when he was accidentally hit by an Isuzu Elf truck owned by RQC Bantay driven by Jake U. Ugale, 37, a resident of Barangay Manzante, Magsingal, this province.
Valle was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.
Ugale was unhurt and in police custody.
