DOH warns vs 'false video' circulating online

The Department of Health (DOH) on Wednesday, May 15, warned the public against a "false video" using the image and name of DOH Secretary Teodoro J. Herbosa.

In a statement, the DOH clarified that none of the allegations mentioned in the video are true and that the purported interview with the official has been maliciously edited.

The country's health department then emphasized that criminal charges may be pressed if related posts persist.

"The DOH continues to enjoin the public to source information only from legitimate sources and platforms such as the health department, which can be accessed through the links and social media handles below," DOH said.
