Pasay LGU implements alternative 'Libreng Sakay' routes for Malibay Fiesta celebration

The local government of Pasay City announced that alternative routes for “Libreng Sakay” was implemented starting May 15 to give way to the celebration of Malibay Fiesta and Flores de Maria.

According to Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, road closure was implemented along C. Jose and P. Santos Streets from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Rubiano said to avoid any inconvenience to riding public, the Toyota shuttle “Libreng Sakay” alternative pick-up and drop-off point was moved from Malibay Plaza to Malibay Mercury Drug.

She said the pick-up and drop-off point in Malibay Plaza will be temporary suspended on Thursday, May 16, and on Sunday, May 26.

The mayor said road closure on May 16 will be from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on May 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Rubiano said “LIbreng Sakay” will continue its operations in other areas.
