3 drug suspects arrested in Parañaque City

Two men and a woman were arrested during a drug buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Parañaque City police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) early Wednesday morning, May 15.

The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspects were identified as alias Jaime, alias Maria, both residents of Barangay San Martin de Porres, and alias Markwiello, a construction worker and a resident of Barangay BF Homes.

The SPD said the Parañaque City police reported the arrest of the suspects at around 4:00 a.m. along Barangay San Martin de Porres.

The police said members of the SDEU were able to confiscate from the suspects five plastic sachets containing an estimated 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000.

The police said the confiscated drugs were turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for qualitative and quantitative analysis.

The suspects are now detained at the police custodial facility and were charged for illegal possession of drugs.
