3 arrested for illegal drugs, firearm in Las Piñas City

Three men were arrested for illegal possession of drugs and firearm by members of the Las Piñas City police on Monday, May 13.

The suspects were identified as alias Joseph, 36; alias Banjimar, 32; and alias Jake, 28.

Based on the report of city police chief Col. Sandro Tafalla to the Southern Police District (SPD), the suspects were arrested at around 4:00 p.m. by members of CAA Substation along Barangay Manuyo Dos, Las Piñas City. 

Confiscated from the suspects were one plastic sachet containing 0.5 grams of shabu worth P3,400, one sachet with traces of suspected shabu, two disposable lighters, one aluminum foil strip also with traces of suspected shabu, one rolled aluminum foil used as an improvised tooter, and one .38 caliber revolver with four live ammunitions.

The suspects are now detained at the police custodial facility and were charged for illegal possession of drugs and firearm.
