TECNO maintains momentum with the CAMON 30 Series

TECNO has been gaining a steady but solid momentum with their smartphones. 

Just recently, TECNO has launched the CAMON 30 series.  

The series comprises four devices: The 30 Premier 5G, 30 Pro 5G, 30 5G, and the 30. 

TECNO says the CAMON 30 series introduces a new generation of video and camera features. It sports two 50MP cameras with a large sensor that is aimed to cater to bloggers.

The Camon 30 is powered with the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 5G, which TECNO says has been geared for improved smartphone photography. We’ve previously reviewed a TECNO POVA 5 some time ago and if that’s anything to go by, the camera had surpassed expectations then. So, it would come as no surprise if the CAMON 30 series would be an impressive tool for photography as well.  

The CAMON 30 has a 5000mAh battery, 70W charge, 120Hz refresh rate, 512GB internal storage and up to 16GB of RAM. 

The CAMON 30 Premier 5G has a built-in Sont imaging chip, which allows it to take 4K videos for night and portrait. It includes a 50MP periscope with up to 70mm focal length, 3x optical zoom, and a 60x digital zoom.  

TECNO has integrated some AI features as well, one of which is Social APp Turbo. This feature allows voice changing, video background changing, beautify filters, and other image-improving features.

There’s also an AI Erase tool to edit images and the Universal Tone, for skin tone processing.  

TECNO boasts the Wet Hand Touch, as the series is IP54. So with a bit of wet hands, you would still be able to navigate through your screen without hassle. 

As there are four different phones in this series, each device has a different processor.  

As mentioned earlier, the Camon 30 5G has a Dimensity 7020.  The 30 Premier and the 30 Pro each have a Dimensity 8200.  And plain 30 has Helio G99.  

The TECNO Camon 30 5G is priced at P11,999 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. The 8GB RAM and 512GB storage is set at P13,999. The 30 Pro at P19,999 and the 30 Premier at 23,999. Sale goes live sometime in June.  

Pre-orders are available as of May 10 with pre-sale prices of as much as P2,000 off.
