Preventive healthcare promotion: Medical mission helps local communities in Bulacan, Batangas, Quezon City
Recognizing that social good initiatives uplift populations, especially those who put healthcare last, the SM Foundation continues to prioritize preventive healthcare promotion.

For the SM Foundation, social good initiatives like medical missions bring essential healthcare services directly to vulnerable populations to alleviate immediate health concerns and promote long-term well-being and empowerment.
As part of its efforts to promote preventive health care in various communities, the SM Foundation conducted three medical missions in Brgy. Krus na Ligas, Quezon City, SM Center Batangas, and SM City Marilao, Bulacan.
SM Foundation brought in a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and volunteers to provide free medical and dental services as well as free medicines to these local communities.
Over 1,900 patients receive much-needed medical attention and treatment through the initiative.
Volunteers and partners from Krus na Ligas Elementary School alumni group, Health Departments of Marilao and Quezon City, Willore Pharmaceutical, Marilao and Krus na Ligas LGUs, Batangas Medical Center, Batangas and Bulacan Chapters of Philippine Red Cross, GX International, and MX3 - DMI Medical Supplies joined the medical missions.
To extend free ECGs and X-rays, the SM Foundation also sends its mobile clinic to the medical missions.
