Delivery boy drowns in Pangasinan

CAMP FLORENDO, La Union – A 32-year-old delivery boy drowned in the sea of Barangay Ilog-Malino, Bolinao, Pangasinan on Sunday, May 12.

Police identified the victim as Dexter Solis Ferrol from Barangay Ilog-Malino.

Investigation said the victim was drunk and went swimming in the sea.

However, he was carried away by the huge waves and strong current to the deep portion of the sea and drowned.

A fisherman and resort staff rescued the victim who was brought to the Rural Health Unit (RHU) in Bolinao where he was declared dead.
