The Schools Division office (SDO) of Malabon City on Monday, May 13 announced the suspension of face-to-face classes due to hot weather.
According to the announcement, asynchronous classes will be implemented on Tuesday, May 14, in all public schools in the city.
This is due to the forecasted heat index of 42 degrees Celsius.
For private schools, class mode is entrusted to school administrators' discretion.
Face-to-face classes at the University of Malabon will also shift to online on May 14.
