Palace hails Pinoy nurses around the world

Malacañang has honored nurses around the world for their valuable contribution to society during the celebration of the International Nurses Day.

"Isang matikas na saludo sa ating mga nurse na buong tapang na tumutugon sa kanilang tungkulin (A snappy salute to all our nurses who are bravely performing their duties)," the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) said on Sunday, May 12.

"Kasama ng international community ang Presidential Communications Office sa pagpapaabot ng pasasalamat sa inyong ‘di matatawarang kontribusyon at walang-sawang serbisyo (The Presidential Communications Office, together with the international community, extends its gratitude to your valuable contribution and tireless service)," the PCO, Malacañang's communication arm, added.

The International Nurses Day is celebrated every May 12 around the world.

It is held annually on the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth.
