Mother's Day Handog: Caloocan LGU gives cakes to 100 mothers

The Caloocan City government gave cakes to 100 mothers in celebration of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12. 

The recipients of the cakes were nominated by their relatives or friends through social media promotion by the local government. 

"Sa maliit nating paraan, nakapagpasaya tayo ng isang daang nanay ngayong araw. Sana po ay natutulungan din natin ang kanilang mga anak na ipakita ang pagpapahalaga at pagpupugay sa kani-kanilang mga nanay (In our small way, we made a hundred mothers happy today. I hope we can also help their children show appreciation and respect for their mothers)," Mayor Dale “Along” Malapitan said. 

Mayor Malapitan's team delivered the cakes around the city.
