VisMin developer Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI) reported a 15 percent growth in its first quarter 2024 net income to P978 million from P847 million in the same period of 2023.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the firm said its consolidated revenue rose 31 percent to P6.26 billion in the first quarter of 2024 from P4.78 billion in the same period last year.
CLI’s reservation sales take-up reached P7.18 billion and, with new project launches in the pipeline, this trajectory is expected to be sustained until the end of the year.
Its hotel revenue increased by 37 percent in the first quarter of 2024 following the opening of three hotels which brings the company’s total completed rooms to 338. CLI has six more hotels under construction.
CLI’s rental income also increased by 58 percent, driven by newly turned-over lease spaces at 38 Park Avenue and Base Line Center Phase 2 located in Cebu’s business hubs.
The firm has spent P2.74 billion in capital expenditure during the first three months of 2024, out of its P14.5 billion projected expenditure for the year.
Just recently, CLI has successfully listed its follow-on offering of P4.28 billion from Series A preferred shares. Proceeds from this offering will primarily be used to support the company's expansion plans.
CLI has P27.65 billion worth of pipeline projects and is aiming to expand its footprint around the country by introducing its first project in General Santos and continuously working on land acquisition initiatives in Luzon.
