ILOILO CITY – Police recovered suspected shabu valued at P1.7 million from two drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in San Dionisio town, Iloilo province on Saturday, May 11.

The IPPO-Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit identified the suspects as Ian, 40, and Jason, 34, who yielded 250 grams of shabu.
“By far, this is the biggest volume of shabu seized in a single operation this week. The dedication of our operatives is truly commendable,” said Police Col. Bayani Razalan, IPPO officer-in-charge.
Suspects face charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The IPPO-PDEU was backed by the San Dionisio Municipal Police Station and the Iloilo Maritime Police Station.
The suspects were caught two days after the IPPO-PDEU seized more than P1-million worth of shabu in Leganes, Iloilo in a buy-bust operation.
