The technology application and innovation-driven market research company Tangere revealed the April 2024 satisfaction and trust ratings survey results for the performances of House of Representatives Speaker Martin Romualdez, Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo, and Senate President Migz Zubiri.

In the survey, Romualdez got a satisfaction percentage of 42 percent (41 percent in March) and 53 percent (52 percent in March) trust ratings.

The slight increase in the house speaker's satisfaction rating was driven by positive feedback from the North/Central Luzon region, the upper-income segment (ABC), and individuals aged 51 and above.

The distrust towards the House Speaker was more visible among respondents from Mindanao and the upper-income class.

Meanwhile, Zubiri attained 42 percent (40 percent in March) satisfaction rating and 53 percent (52 percent in March) trust rating.

This slight improvement was fueled by higher ratings from the older segment (51 years old and above) as well as from the South Luzon and Mindanao regions.

There is an increase in the number of respondents categorized as "undecided" in terms of Trust ratings, indicating an area "where work can be done to further increase ratings."

"A slightly improved Satisfaction and Trust rating was noted for Senate President Migz Zubiri," Tangere said.

Moreover, Gesmundo attained a 37 percent satisfaction rating (34 percent in March) and a 42 percent trust rating (39 percent in March).

For the chief justice, there was a huge improvement in the satisfaction rating, attributed to better ratings across nearly all demographic segments, particularly notable among those in the older segment (51 years old and above).

Meanwhile, an increase in trust rating (+3% points) was observed, primarily driven by respondents from South Luzon and the high-income (ABC) groups.

"Awareness and Familiarity levels for the Chief Justice barely changed in April," Tangere said.

The survey was conducted through a mobile-based respondent application, with a sample size of 2,400, utilizing a Stratified Random Sampling method (quota-based sampling) from April 24 to 27.

The survey results carry a margin of error of ± 2.20 percent at a 95 percent Confidence Level.

"The proportion was spread throughout the Philippines with 12 percent from NCR, 23 percent from Northern Luzon, 22 percent from Southern Luzon, 20 percent from the Visayas, and 23 percent from Mindanao," Tangere said.
