A 37-year-old man was shot dead in front of his eatery by two unidentified gunmen early Friday morning, May 10, in Pasay City.
Pasay City Police Chief Col. Mario Mayames said the victim, identified as Mark Anthony Gandamo, a resident of Leonardo St., Barangay 61, Pasay City, suffered one gunshot wound in the head and died on the spot.
Mayames said based on the investigation, two men coming from Emma St. arrived at the “tapsilogan carinderia” of the victim pretending to be customers at around 12:25 a.m.
He said that after ordering “tapsilog,” one of the suspects pulled out an unknown firearm and shot the victim once in the head.
The city police chief said the suspects immediately fled after the shooting incident.
Mayames said police investigators are backtracking the CCTV footage provided to them by barangay officials to determine the identity of the suspects.
