Undersecretary Earl A. Saavedra, Dangerous Drugs Board executive director, guest of honor and speaker of the conferment ceremony, said that PRO 4-A achieved this feat after successfully completing the four phases of the internal cleansing program outlined in Command Memorandum Circular 2023-03. It aims to ensure that no Philippine National Police members are engaged in any activities associated with illegal drugs.

These are awareness and prevention programs on illegal drugs, drug testing of all PNP personnel in the regional headquarters indicating negative result; treatment, rehabilitation, and referral, and monitoring and evaluation of all PNP personnel in the regional office.

Saavedra unveiled a drug-free workplace marker, witnessed by the men and women of PRO 4-A, members of the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terrorismo (KKDAT), tricycle operators and driver association members, and barangay tanods or watchmen.

He commended the exemplary performance and unwavering commitment of the PRO 4A personnel in fostering a reputable and sincere police organization in the government’s campaign against illegal drugs which resulted in the achievement of a drug-free workplace.

“Binabati ko ang PRO-Calabarzon who can champion drug abuse prevention and control.
