The city government of Pasay has started implementing Metropolitan Manila Development Authority's (MMDA) Resolution No. 24-08 on the adjusted working hours from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on May 2 until June 30.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano issued an Executive Order on April 15 informing all City Hall employees that the traditional working hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. will be adjusted to 7:00 a.m. up to 4:00 p.m. to address the prevailing traffic situation in Metro Manila and prevent road congestion during peak hours.

Rubiano required frontline offices to adopt a skeleton workforce until 5:00 p.m. to continue to render services and to assist those who are transacting business with their offices.
