Farmer shot dead in house

CATANAUAN, Quezon â€“ A 52-year-old farmer was gunned down in his house in Barangay Tagbacan Ilaya here on Sunday night, April 28.

Police identified the victim as Sonny Luistro.

Investigation said a neighbor of the victim heard gunshots at around 9 p.m. on Sunday.

A helper of the victim found the body of his employer at around 7:30 a.m. on Monday, April 29, and reported his discovery to a barangay kagawad who informed the police about the incident.

The victim sustained a bullet wound in the head.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
