Caloocan, Quezon City LGUs conduct back-to-back job fairs on Labor Day


The Caloocan and Quezon Cities held mega job fairs for their residents on Labor Day, May 1. 

The Quezon City government held its Mega Labor Day Job Fair at the Quezon City Hall to offer more than 9,000 work opportunities from 100 local and public agencies in the country.

Mayor Joy Belmonte also led the distribution of the 100 livelihood packages (Nego Kart) and Certificate of Eligibility to 166 QCitizens who will be included in the DOLE’s livelihood assistance program.

Present also during the distribution were DOLE-NCR Assistant Regional Director Atty. Jude Thomas Trayvilla and DOLE-Quezon City Field Office Director Engr. Martin Jequinto.

Meanwhile, the Caloocan LGU held the Mega Job Fair at SM City Grand Central to celebrate Labor Day.

Several participating partner companies offered thousands of job vacancies for Caloocan job seekers.

Mayor Dale "Along" Malapitan thanked all workers and employees for their contributions to the country’s economy.

He also assured that they will continue to focus on providing work opportunities for the Caloocan residents.
