Boutique airline mounts direct flights to Boracay from Clark, Cebu

Boutique airline Sunlight Air is now offering direct flights to Caticlan from Clark International Airport (CRK) and Mactan-Cebu International Aiport (MCIA), providing travelers with more affordable options to visit Boracay this Summer season.

According to the airline, the CRK-Caticlan Airport (MPH) and CEB-MPH flights will be available twice a week every Tuesday and Saturday.

“It’s one of the best places to relax and explore various beaches in the Philippines, and we’re excited for more visitors— both local and foreign—to get to see the stunning natural wonders our country has to offer," said Sunlight Air CEO Ryna Brito-Garcia.

Travelers can enjoy the white beaches, clear waters, and island life famous in Boracay Island, or explore the hiking trails and activities like parasailing in Caticlan in Aklan province.

"We see this to be a great opportunity for us to contribute to local tourism, and look forward to sharing the Sunlight Air experience with more passengers," she added.

Following the transfer of Sunlight Air's main hub to CRK from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the airline has opened new routes such as CRK-Siargao, CRK-Busuanga, CEB-Iloilo, and CEB-Cagayan de Oro.

According to the airline, the move was made to utilize the modern facilities and services of CRK to provide better passenger services, improve flight efficiency, and widen its network.
