Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez led the distribution of salaries of 841 beneficiaries of Tulong Panghanabuhay sa ating mga Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program on May 1 at the Parañaque City Sports Complex.
Olivarez said the 841 city residents were given temporary employment for 14 days with a salary of P610 per day or a total of P8,540.
The mayor said the payout was attended by District 1 Councilor Pablo “Paolo” Olivarez II, Congressman Olivarez's chief of staff Atty. Ding Soriano, and Sen. Grace Poe’s senior political officer Kelvin Sanguir.
Olivarez said the beneficiaries were deployed to different schools to do tree planting and maintain cleanliness of the surroundings.
