COTABATO CITY – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested a big-time drug pusher and seized five kilos of suspected shabu valued at P34 million in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Matalin, Malabang, Lanao del Sur on Monday, April 8.

PDEA-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region chief Cesario Gil Castro identified the suspect as Zacaria Jaji Nandang, 30, a resident of Barangay Bagua 2, this city.
Nandang was caught after he sold shabu to PDEA poseur-buyer. The suspect yielded five kilograms of shabu with an estimated value of P34 million and a Toyota Avanza car.
Castro said the suspect was placed under surveillance following intelligence reports on his involvement in the illegal drugs trade.
He said the suspect was a member of a local drug group in Cotabato City and neighboring provinces of Maguindanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur.
Nandang faces drug-related charges and is detained at the PDEA detention facility in this city.
