Final episode of K-drama 'Wonderful World' to run for 90 minutes
The Korean drama “Wonderful World,” starring Kim Nam-joo and Cha Eun-woo, will be ending with the airing of the 13th and 14th episodes on April 12 and 13, respectively.
To make the finale memorable, the production team of “Wonderful World" ("원더풀 월드") announced on April 9 that the 14th and final episode of the drama will be extended to 90 minutes.

In South Korea, episode 13 will start at its usual time, 9:50 p.m. KST. Episode 14 will air 10 minutes earlier at 9:40 p.m. KST.
“In the 13th and 14th episodes, which will be the finale, the twist of the mystery that has been hidden so far is revealed to the surface, and the cruel politician Kim Jun [played by actor Park Hyuk-kwon] and his punishment will be carried out,” the production team said.
They added, “Accordingly, after careful consideration, we decided to expand the programming in order to convey the character's narrative well ahead of the end. As the viewers have given us so much love, we will repay their support by making the final episode more solid.”
“Wonderful World” is a human mystery drama about a professor (Kim Nam-joo) who exacts revenge when her son is killed.
According to the drama’s production team, “Wonderful World,” which first aired in March, dominated various topicality rankings even before airing, exceeding double-digit viewership rating in the metropolitan area with 10.2 percent (based on Nielsen Korea) in just five episodes, ranking first among all programs aired on Fridays.
The 11th episode of “Wonderful World” on April 5 garnered a nationwide rating of 11.4 percent (peaking at 12.7 percent) to rank first not only among all programs on terrestrial TV but overall including paid platforms and comprehensive channels. Episode 11 was watched by 1.91 million people nationwide.
This was the drama’s highest nationwide rating to date, the same rating it got for episode 9.
