Down 5-8 in the pivotal fifth set, Permentilla sparked a 7-0 blast highlighted by three straight kills to grab the 12-8 upperhand that set the tone late in the match en route to their second straight victory.

The Chameleons hiked their win-loss tally to 3-5 to tie with sister team Akari Chargers in the middle standings while pushing the Foxies to sixth loss against two triumphs.

Permentilla came off the bench in the opening set and finished with 16 points built on 15 attacks as four other players also scored in double figures for the Chameleons in the 2-hour, 25-minute affair.

“Hindi nakikita nung tao yung hard work and hirap namin during training and I’m just glad na finally, nakita na ito through this win,” said Permentilla, adding that the victory would serve as a morale boost for their anticipated tough match against powerhouse Creamline on Saturday, April 13.

Ivy Lacsina paced Nxled with 21 points with 18 coming from kills, even as Lycha Ebon chipped in 17 hits including four aces.

Cal Victoria and Krich Macaslang also shone with 16 and 11 points, respectively, including posting three blocks apiece.

Nxled stumbled into errors in the opening frame and gave up nine points including the crucial last two on a service that went long and an attack that went wide to give Farm Fresh the set win.

They regained their composure by claiming the next two sets, but failed to sustain the momentum in the fourth as the Foxies extended the match into a decider.

Chinnie Arroyo and Caitlin Viray scored 19 and 18 points in a losing effort for Farm Fresh as they tied with Galeries Tower near the bottom.
